The “Connecting to Campus” 委员会 is dedicated to fostering lifelong relationships with current 学生 and the Mount Union community. This committee shall provide service and support by facilitating networking, professional development, leadership opportunities.

The “威尼斯人app下载的周末 and 奖” 委员会 will review and provide recommendations to the University 政府 for the Dodie Davis 威尼斯人app下载 Service Award, 青年威尼斯人app下载奖, McKinley Fellow Award, Great Teacher Award. The committee will make suggestions and provide feedback for the 威尼斯人app下载的周末 programming.

What do the roles entail?
委员会 chairs plan, schedule, run committee meetings. The chair also works closely with the 威尼斯人app下载会 president and vice president as well as the Office of 威尼斯人app下载 订婚 to share meeting minutes, 倡议, 和目标. Members attend and participate in meetings (committee and full-body 威尼斯人app下载会).
Are there in-person meetings?
While we would love to see you on campus if you live close by or are able to travel back in town, we understand that Mount Union 威尼斯人app下载 and friends live in different cities, 州, 甚至是国家, so we provide a Zoom option for those who are unable to attend in-person.
What is the time commitment like?
Your time commitment is based on the tasks/goals your committee has set. When joining the 威尼斯人app下载会, you can opt-in to serve a one or two-year term. The full-body 威尼斯人app下载会 meets three times each year, with committee meetings inbetween.
What kind of decisions does the 威尼斯人app下载会 make for the campus?
The 威尼斯人app下载会 doesn't make any major decisions for the campus, but rather is a branch of the Office of 威尼斯人app下载 订婚 and is a representation of the University.
Is there a cost to join?
No! Joining the 威尼斯人app下载会 is free of charge! 作为一个群体, the 威尼斯人app下载会 sponsors the Susie (Oberholzer '73) Buckel Scholarship to support our legacy 学生. We aim for 100% participation from the full body of the 威尼斯人app下载会 every year, in any amount that is comfortable for you.
