为什么是联合山?

The neuroscience major led me to explore Mount Union as a possibility. While exploring other schools with that same major, the faculty at the University and within the department of neuroscience, 人类发展 & psychology were welcoming, informative and they went above and beyond for a potential student. As a commuter student I am comfortable being on campus for late night study sessions and feel safe walking the campus. When I was a first-year student, upper classmen and TAs motivated and guided me to excel in my classes.

Mount Union Family

Juggling a double major with a minor as well as being a working college student, I've had to learn how to efficiently manage my time and create a school, work and personal life balance. Through Aultman's student internship program I was able to shadow at a primary care facility. Without Mount Unions' partnership with Aultman Alliance Hospital and the help of my advisor, Dr. Knepp, I would not have been able to experience this opportunity. 另外, through UMU's partnership with NEOMED's AHEC program, I engage in didactic and experiential opportunities about how to better serve underserved and vulnerable populations within medicine. Without the help and support from faculty at Mount Union, I would not be able to prepare myself for my future career.

源自联合山

My goal is to become a Physician Assistant. I've always had an interest in neurological disorders and the physiology of the nervous system. I enjoy the interdisciplinary aspect of the neuroscience major, 这涉及到心理学, biology and chemistry all in one. I am looking forward to attending PA school once I graduate from Mount Union.
